Reduced Driving Refund

With our Reduced Driving Refund, all registered, eligible Auto clients* will receive a 15% refund on their Auto insurance premium from April 1 to May 31. If eligible, refunds will be applied to your policy and you will receive a confirmation email with additional details. Policies must have been active on May 31st, 2020.

You’ll need your policy number and policy address:

  1. Access the Reduced Driving Refund Form here
  2. Complete the form accurately and in its entirety
  3. Click register and you’re done! An email confirmation will be sent that you’ve registered.

*Car insurance requirements in Canada depend on which province you live in and who you buy your insurance from. The Reduced Driving Refund is only available to clients who have purchased The Co-operators Group Auto insurance product where available, which excludes British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

  1. Auto premium relief

    Recognizing that Canadians were using their vehicles less, and there were fewer vehicles on the road, we encouraged clients to register for a 15% refund on their auto insurance premium from April 1 to May 31. In addition to other options to help ease financial pressure, we encouraged clients to update their auto insurance if their driving habits had changed significantly.
