The Co-operators implemented a matching program in partnership with the Canadian Red Cross. All full-time, part-time and contract staff working in
The Co-operators group of companies, agents and their staff, the Board of Directors and Delegates, Community Advisory Panel members and IMPACT! student alumni were encouraged to help.

“Canadians and people around the world were deeply saddened by the devastation in Haiti, and were moved to give generously to help the survivors in Haiti rebuild their communities,” said Kathy Bardswick, President and CEO of The Co-operators. “Our organization's commitment to match contributions helped our staff, agents and others to maximize the impact of their gifts to a country that urgently needs help.”

Donations reached an impressive $149,135; with matching funds from
The Co-operators Foundation and the Federal Government program, we contributed a total of $447,405 to the cause.
